YOUR COMMITTEE HAS DECIDED TO CLOSE THE ART CLUB PREMISES FROM MONDAY 23rd MARCH FOR ONE MONTH BEFORE RE-EVALUATING THE SITUATION.

Yesterday our Prime Minister asked all people over 70 or with compromised immune systems to stay at home. We have many members in that category.

Our cleaner will be at the club for the last time today. I will be visiting about 10.30 on Tuesday and Wednesday to make sure everyone has received this message and to put the rubbish out. If anyone has anything left at the clubrooms that they want to retrieve please meet me there then.

ONLY COMMITTEE MEMBERS WILL BE PERMITTED ENTRY FROM MONDAY ONWARDS.

Key carrying members, who are not on the committee, will only be permitted to retrieve belongings, with a committee member.

Committee members who can be contacted to retrieve anything outside of the above times are -

Rita Quirk - brendan.quirk@xtra.co.nz ph 388 9708; or

Sheila Playford - splayford@xtra.co.nz ph 386 3980 or 021 318283

UPDATE: Saturday April 25

Thought I’d let you know that I have talked to the committee and we have agreed that the club shouldn’t re-open until we move to Level Two. However, there is a good chance we may not be able to re-open until Level One, depending on government instruction. The same applies to when we can hold the deferred AGM.

We are postponing the AGM to a later time.

We will be monitoring the situation regularly so please keep your eye on your computer for updates and communicate with other members.

Please keep yourselves safe and well, and keep painting at home.

Thank you,
Judy Langham
